At Stag Sports we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase.

We therefore recommend that you read our Warranty and Returns Policy prior to making a purchase from Stag Sports, so you are familiar with this policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”).

We also recommend you immediately inspect any products that we deliver to you or that you collect from our store, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the products, including that the products are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.




As a customer, you are entitled to the benefit of legal consumer guarantees in relation to products or services purchased from Stag Sports. If you believe a product or service is faulty, not of acceptable quality, does not match the description provided or is not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”). However, these consumer guarantees do not apply where the product was damaged due to abnormal use, misuse or neglect.

If you believe you have purchased a faulty product, you must provide proof of purchase to receive a refund, replacement product or repair. Proof of purchase may be your original register receipt, credit card / bank statement or another acceptable form of proof of purchase.

Where you believe a product is faulty, it may be necessary for us to send the item to the manufacturer or their service agent for it to be assessed. In accordance with the ACL, if the failure is minor, we may repair the product (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item or provide refund) within a reasonable time.

If the product or service has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. These consumer guarantees may be impacted by the type, age and nature of the item.

Stag Sports will assess the faulty product to determine the nature and cause of the fault. Stag Sports reserves the right to decline an exchange, refund or repair where any product fault is caused by misuse or neglect.

Items posted are at the customer’s cost and risk, and Stag Sports shall not refund customers for any products that it does not receive, or that it receives which are broken or damaged.



Cricket bats are made from natural willow and is used to hit hard leather ball repetitively. With the usage of the bat, general wear and tear and appearance of small cracks is  quite normal but they do not essentially impact bat performance. More than anything it is merely an indication of either improper use or insufficient bat preparation which is why it is critical to prepare your bat properly prior to use.

The actual lifespan of your bat actually depends on the amount of its use, and how well it is cared for and maintained.  Therefore, we strongly recommend to use added protection such as Extractec & Toe Protection to improve longevity of your bat.

Paying higher price for a bat doesn’t necessarily mean you will get longer lifespan. Generally, more expensive the bat is more lighter and softer it is which means although they will outperform cheaper bats, they may not last as long.




  1. Stag Sports warrants that its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period as outlined in the table below.

  1. In order to determine whether a Product is considered to be defective, Stag Sports will always assess your claim in accordance with this Warranty policy and the ACL.
  2. All other products not listed and any products outside of the abovementioned warranty period, will be managed by Stag Sports on a goodwill basis.




  1. Except for the Warranty provided by Stag Sports and any warranties or guarantees imposed by the law, Stag Sports gives no other warranties in relation to the product or services.
  2. Where applicable, Stag Sports will not be responsible for damage to the product or its failure to function due to any of the following:
    1. Lack of, or improper maintenance such as lack of bat preparation
    2. Water, moisture or heat damage howsoever caused
    3. Abnormal, misuse or excessive use such as using cricket bat against bowling machine or of non-leather or composite balls including but not limited to bowling machine balls, hard and cheap balls
    4. Over oiling or inadequate bat preparation
    5. Yorker damage to the bat toe
    6. Normal wear and tear, surface scratches, dents, chips, marks, accidental breakages, scuff marks, worn out leather
  3. To avoid any doubt, this warranty does not apply to:
    1. Any change in appearance, to the extent that such change does not result in impairment of the performance of the product;
    2. Any alterations or modifications made to the products including but not limited to an original sticker or label being changed, tampered with or removed.
    3. Any repairs performed by anyone else not authorised by Stag Sports.
  4. For both Change of Mind or Warranty claims, Stag Sports cannot be held liable for any products that it does not receive, or that it receives which are broken or damaged.




  1. The Customer is responsible for the expense of making a claim under this Warranty including but not limited to packaging and shipping.
  2. Except as required by law all implied conditions and warranties are hereby excluded subject to those conditions and warranties necessarily implied under the law. The Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for any damage whether direct, indirect, special, consequential or contingent shall, at Stag Sports option be limited to the following:
    1. In the case of products:
      1. the replacement of products or supply of equivalent products;
      2. the repair of products; or
  • the payment of the cost of replacing or repairing equivalent products.
  1. In the case of services:
    1. The supply of services again; or
    2. The payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
  2. Customer will need to provide by post, telephone or email a description of the defect or damage.

  1. Depending on the nature of the claim, Stag Sports will assess the validity of the Warranty claim but we may also need to send the item to the manufacturer for their assessment. We will endeavour to advise you of the outcome of your claim within a reasonable timeframe but in case of any delay due to unforeseen circumstances we will keep you informed.
  2. If your claim is successful, we will provide an appropriate remedy which may include a repair, replacement, refund or having the service performed again.
  3. Any replacement product provided as part of the Warranty claim covers the remainder of the warranty period only and by no means extend or restart the warranty period.
